► Stealing a doll from a toy store to make Miki happy. Aki beats him up, they return it.

What Happened:

Shinjiro: You remember the story about the first fight we ever had? It was because... I stole a doll from a toy store. Aki's sister couldn't make any friends. I stole it because I thought it'd make her happy. Aki found out about it, and he beat the crap outta me... and he was crying the whole time. Afterwards, we both went back to the store to return it... and to apologize for what I did. The toy store's owner smacked us both.

Ostensibly a third-year at Gekkoukan High School, Shinjiro spends more time hanging around a certain alleyway in Tatsumi Port Island than he does in class. He was a founding member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES).

A tough and serious exterior hides a much gentler young man wracked with guilt and trauma. Shinjiro is kind and caring, worrying after his friends in his own gruff way. His hobbies include cooking and walking Koromaru. A more immature side of his personality comes out whenever he ends up spending time around his childhood friend Akihiko as they both get dragged into each other's antics and end up in lively competition more often than not.
